论点必须正确。论据是为说明论点服务的，既要可靠又要充分，事实胜于雄辩，是的论据。论据也可以是人们公认的真理，经过实践考验的哲理。下面就看看怎么确定论点，举出论据，论点和论据有利的结合起来就是一片很棒的议论性作文。

1、确定论点

文章开头明确提出中心论点。通过认真审题，确定写作范围后，开始写文章[消息，写一封英文信给你在外留学即将回来的哥哥，告诉他回来比较好，找工作容易还可以照顾父母。]开头，如果是命题议论文，先简单解释和展开题目，由此引出中心论点并明确表述中心论点。这里指的明确即“明明白白”不要“隐含”在句子里或段落中，这样既方便读者(阅读者)理解，又能提醒作者(考生)不要“跑题”。如果是材料作文，先引述材料，再简单阐述对材料的理解，由此引出中心论点，并明确之。如下：

中心论点提出后，紧接着分析论证这个中心论点。论述这一部分的思路实际上是在回答一个问题：为什么说……?然而，大家在写作这部分时，多有个通病，大量写列事例。事例议论是必须的，它有很多好处，诸如增强论题说服力、形象、具体等，但文章论述要达到某种深度还是要通过理论上分析论证，事例论证只是个协助手段而已。这部分具体步骤是：先思考可以从几个方面或角度来论证中心论点，然后选择其中说服力的两三个方面或角度，由大到小或反之，由主到次或反之来进行排列，这就是这部分的分论点。

论据是比较重要的一部分，也是比较困难的，一定要问对题，和论点结合起来，欲证明自己的观点必须有充分的证据。作者可以列举事实、展示数据、提供事例、借助常识或利用亲身经历。

3、论证要有严密的逻辑性

所有事实、原因、理由应紧密地同结论连接起来。 层次要清楚 态度诚恳、友好，因为议论文重在说理，以理服人

议论文在写作手法上以议论为主，但有时也要运用说明、叙述、描写等手法。议论中的说明常为议论的开展创造条件，或是议论的补充;议论文中的叙述和描写应是为论点提供依据的因此，叙述应该是概括的，描写应该是简要的。
