如何撰写自主招生个人陈述
有中学资格的学生,相对于自荐的学生通过高校初审是比较容易的,所以如果可能,建议家长尽可能争取校荐资格。自荐的学生,如果没有很硬的获奖证明,能说服高校老师给考生一个考试的机会可能就是个人陈述材料了。
写好个人自述的确不是一件容易的事,你需要投入很多的时间和精力。自主招生初审阶段,个人陈述是高与传统印象中的理科生不同,在学习的同时,我也一直在关注风云,经济形势。看天河一号笑傲群雄,看嫦娥奔月,看天宫入天,以此来拓展我的视野。在学校,我参加校学生会,并积极参加各种活动,筹备书法比赛,组织体育艺术活动,处处可以看到我的身影。由于认真的工作态度,我被学生会评为“干事”。我曾在校元旦联欢晚会上一展歌喉,一首《精忠报国》赢得满堂喝彩。校招办老师了解学生的一个重要手段,考生的平时成绩和高中阶段获得的重要奖项,是否能通过自主招生初审的主要标准,除此之外就是个人陈述了,一个好的个人陈述对于考生来说就是助推剂,甚至特别的个人陈述也能决定你能否通过初审。

在写的过程中还有一些注意事项:
1、要分清主次,有所强调;一定要围绕事先确定的内容和思路进行撰写,写的时候不要东一榔头西一棒子,觉得这样重要,那也重要,都想放进去,把自己写的无比,这样缺乏文章的连贯性,让读者老师觉得很你很浮躁。一定要在众多优点中突出能符合你所报大学和专业要求的优点,其他优点简单提一下,甚至可以不提;
2、思路新颖,要有一个比较好的切入点,好的开头能让你老师对你印象深刻,也能吸引老师阅读下去;
3、文章主体为说明文,可以兼用叙述、议论、描写、抒情等多种表达方式;
4、将考生所获奖项穿插在考生的兴趣爱好、文章观点和故事当中,作为说明考生情况的一种结果,尽量用高中期间的获奖奖项,实在没有可以用高中以前的,写明获奖名次及名称,这些奖项的使用,应该是和文章的有机结合,是为了说明你的特长、优势,不能为说明奖项而写;
6、充分张扬90后高考考生的风貌个性,每个人都有自己的梦想,想象一下,每年一个大学的自主招生至少有三四千人报考,一个招办老师可能需要阅读上千封个人陈述;好的文章不会让老师感到厌烦,能通过你的个人陈述喜欢上你这个人;

无论是哪所高校,都希望通过自主招生选拔到人才。他们需通过考生的个人陈述对考生有个全面的认知,大致掌握考生的整体状况,如:该生的学习能力、爱好特长、性格特点、未来规划等。与此同时,考生既然选报了这所高校,该高校自然也希望考生能给校方一个充分的理由―――是什么原因使你选报我校?所以,自荐信所要做的就是把你―――完完全全的陌生人介绍给高校的初审老师。某大学就在自主招生《个人陈述撰写建议》中表示:“我们希望能够通过个人陈述来从各个角度全面地了解每一个申请者。个人陈述是你充分展现自我的机会,它可以充分反应你的个性和才智。一篇真诚而生动的个人陈述会让你很快在所有的申请者中脱颖而出!”

避免六大问题
在写个人陈述时,考生们切忌长篇大论,空谈理想,要挑选重点要点简要陈述,尤其要注意避免出现以下六方面问题。
一是过度的“文艺腔调”。文采不是要求,诚恳才是标准。好比作文,应将满腹才情的挥洒建立在真情实感的基础之上。
二是忽视院校下一步,需要确定一个大概的文章思路,结合你报考的大学和专业特点,确定应该重点表现哪些优势特长。然后就需要确立文章的整理思路,开头表达要新颖,中间部分重点说明你的特长优势和学习成长历程,再加一些你的人生感悟。结尾部分说明一下你的报考这个大学和专业的理由,然后表述你对未来的规划和你的理想。要求而谈规划。万不可脱离所申请院校的相关专业空谈理想和学习规划,否则就算再,也有可能因为跟院校招生专业匹配度不高而被拒。
三是照搬套用。不管你在多么小众的网站上找到的多么个性或是的模板或者范文,也一定有别人能看到,汇总到审阅老师手中的是不可计数的个人陈述,如果出现内容“撞衫”的现象,只怕会让老师更加反感。另外,需注意,要一校一写,没有通用的模板。千篇一律,难以出众。不同的学校,不同的专业,要展示自己不同的优势,有了针对性,就必然多了份可能。
五是虚构夸大。切记不要虚构经历、夸大成绩。在谈及个人学习经历和成绩时,要用数据说话,无亮点数据可谈个人兴趣和潜质,但要注意这个兴趣或潜质要与所报考院校专业匹配。
六是不重写作细节。标点符号、错别字等细节往往被忽视,规范的书面表达是成功的必要前提。看似细节,往往易暴露弱点。单拿标点符号来讲,试举几例,以供考生思考,引用内容一个标点符号到底是在引号内,还是在引号外?并列成分之间是该用顿号,还是逗号?这样的细节问题都值得关注,这也是语文素养的体现。同时,正确使用标点符号在高考大纲亦有明确规定。而且规范的书写和工整的字迹是尤为重要的。

The desire to know more about the nature has motivated me to step into the broad world of science. I he cultivated my great interest in physics, chemistry, biology and a lot of related fields since I was very young. In the September of 2000, I entered University of Science and Technology of China and became a member of physics department since then. New environment always brings unexpected difficulties, and great effort has given by me to get adapt to the new life. During the period of hard trying, both my knowledge and my maturity he remarkably grown and I finally got rank above 12 % of 140, with overall GPA 3.5/4.0, and major GPA 3.8/4.0. My hard working finally earned me the Outstanding Student Scholarship in 2003.
Besides enhancement of knowledge in physics, I he also accumulated a great deal of knowledge in chemistry and material science. My work was focused on the single crystal preparation and physical property measurement, especially the transport property and magnetic properties. After so many times of attempt in the melting range and descending speed, I successfully grew a great deal of single crystals with high quality. Moreover, I he spent so many days and nights toger with my colleagues in lab measuring the resistance of the single crystals under zero field and high field. Due to the high quality of the crystals and our hard work, we finally obtained plenty of meaningful data and by yzing the normal state property, I he submitted a titled “Field-induced log (1/T) diverging resistivity deviation from normal state in superconducting cuprates” to Phys. Rev. Lett. in 2003 as the third author. Howr, my work was not stopped and with further investigation in the 2D weak localization , I he submitted another to Europhys. Lett. in October 2003 as a co-author.
Besides, through the work, I obtained almost all the skills of manipulation of the corresponding instruments from physical preparation to characterization, such as M.Braum Glove-Box (Germany), MORRIS High Pressure (Berkeley), Rietveld and Lebail Refinement of crystal structure from XRD pattern, 17 T Ultra-High Magnetic Field (Oxford Science), AC Assistance Bridge (Liner Research Inc.) sputtering and so on. What’s more, I can skillfully use software, (GSAS, FullProf, CELL PCPDFWIN and etc), to yze the structure of the material through X-ray diffraction data.
Beyond the achiment in research, the happiness I gained from the cooperation with others and the approach of the physics science was greater. The study of mathematical sciences has intrigued me for many years. The decision to study A lls in both Maths and Physics stemmed from a high interest ll and strong aptitude in both subject areas. This was reflected in the AS grades I received in June 2002; achieving an A grade in mathematics which has inspired me further in my pursuit of the subject.
My other academic interests include Business Studies, especially mament and finance areas which link with sections of the maths course. My cho to include a humanities subject at A ll was partly encouraged by my need to yse and evaluate situations, Business Studies gives me the chance to do this in great detail and I find it therapeutic to get involved in relevant
case studies. I am also taking an A ll in General Studies which is increasing my knowledge of political and cultural issues. The subject also encourages group discussions concerning current affairs and provides me with the opportunity to input my opinions.
For the last few years I he been a member of a Duke of Edinburgh scheme running locally within the college. In June 2001 I completed the Bronze Award and am now working towards my Gold. This has given me a lot of experience in teark, problem solving and maintaining a high ll of responsibility. The paradoxes associated with infinity and all the counter-intuitive arguments put forward about infinity motivate me to study infinity in detail, and I therefore look forward to the intriguing courses on ysis.
‘It may be very hard to define mathematical beauty, but that is just as true of beauty of any kind’ – Hardy in ‘A Mathematician’s Apology’. I agree with Hardy, for I feel that mathematical beauty is inexpressible and yet so common. Howr, I beli that Maths at school ll has lost its beauty, as there is not enough emphasis on the proofs of theorems and the focus lies in the end result of a theorem instead. My opinion is that they are equally important, as one cannot exist without the other: you cannot classify soming as a theorem unless it has a proof and you cannot he a proof unless it leads to a theorem. Howr, I he only come across beautiful Maths in proofs and I therefore look forward to the rigorous approach of being taught Maths at university ll, which gives more importance to understanding. Currently, I find some stimulation in attending weekly extension Maths lessons, covering topics that go beyond the regular A-Ll syllabus, such as Euclid’s algorithm, the Fibonacci sequence, the continuum hypothesis and proof by induction.
